KWRHTA and The Derby Classic Donate to FAST

The Derby Classic Horse Show, along with the Kentucky Walking and Racking Trainers Association, is committed to help promote and protect the show horse industry. On behalf of the 2026 Derby Classic and Kentucky Walking and Racking Horse Trainers Association, a check for $3,000 was presented to FAST, Inc. to help with legal finances.

A portion of entry fees collected at the 2026 show was allocated for this, with additional funds being added from the association itself. Presenting the check to Fast Vice-President Barron Witherspoon are KWRHTA President Billy Howard and Secretary Julie George, along with KWRHTA members Robby Bradley, Ryan Blackburn and Spencer Benedict.

Obituary – Dr. Milton “Alan” Miller
Dr. Milton “Alan” Miller, age 87, of Murfreesboro, TN passed away July 13, 2026 in his home and was welcomed by his Savior Jesus into heaven. He was born in Etowah, TN to the late Cecil and Vivian Plumlee Miller. Alan and his wife were among those who founded Believers’ Chapel in Murfreesboro on February 14, 1979. Read More
