The American Council on Germany brought a group of 14 German agriculturalists to Tennessee October 14-16. As part of their visit, they were hosted at Jerry Williams Stables at Uncle Nearest Green Distillery and exposed to the Tennessee Walking Horse.
Tennessee Walking Horse Breeders’ & Exhibitors’ Association’s director from Germany, Denise Bader, gave the overview and explained the unique traits of the Tennessee Walking Horse while those horses were ridden. Jerry Williams and his team had a mare and foal as well as a pleasure and performance Tennessee Walking Horse that they rode for the group.
Jeffrey Howard and Warren Wells from the Tennessee Walking Horse National Celebration helped organize the event along with Mark Farrar from TWHBEA.
